Welcome to Memphis Maus, home to Egyptian Mau cats of distinction

First and foremost our Egyptian Maus are our pets and they share our home with us so that we can enjoy their company, and they ours. We do breed our Maus with the aim of improving the breed overall - this means that we are selective about which of our kittens we allow to be used for future breeding. Our focus is to choose kittens that demonstrate promising indicators of three main attributes: Health, Temperament & Type, each of which are described in the Egyptian Mau Breeding Policy.

As you would expect, our breeding girls remain in the home with us during their entire pregnancy so that the kittens are born and raised in the home. This means we can ensure the kittens have the best start in life and are fully socialised.

From time to time kittens will be available to prospective new owners and we will post information on our kittens page.

This site provides a doorway into the world of the Egyptian Mau, it offers you the opportunity to discover more about this beautiful breed and its ancient origins.

Please explore our site to find out more about the Egyptian Mau. Links to other sites are also provided where we have found useful and interesting information.

We now have a boy - a smoke coloured Egyptian Mau - who we call Eric but he is more formally known by his registered name of Pollystar Azizi.

The latest addition to our home is Jade, great grand daughter of our first girl, Cleopatra.

Do come back and visit Memphis Maus again soon to check out our latest updates, including kittens, as we progress our breeding programme.
